"O people in Zion, inhabitant in Jerusalem, you will weep no longer. He will surely be gracious to you at the sound of your cry; when He hears it, He will answer you." - ISAIAH 30:19
Parents today have intercoms they can place near a baby’s crib. No matter where they are in the house, mom and dad can respond to the slightest whimper. God listens intently to the cries of His people. He heard the groaning of the Hebrews in Egypt’s slave camps, and remembered His covenants of promise, and set them free (EXODUS 2:24-25). So when sin’s shackles rub you raw, when temptation snarls in your path, when trials bring you to desperation, and you cry out, you discover He is gracious.
