It’s sad to see an older person become childish, but wonderful to be with a childlike senior citizen. Eagles go through molting periods so that no matter what their age, they look young and continue to soar with vitality.
People in covenant with God are “Wow!” focused, not “How?” centered. Some ask, bitterly, “How can this thing happen to me?” But those whose youth God renews say, “Wow, I wonder what God is doing in my life through this circumstance!”
Mature in Christ, and though your bodily strength wanes, your spirit and soul will soar like a young eagle.
