No excuse

One day I was walking through the halls of our church, and I saw a sign that said, “Wet Paint.” Sometime later in the day, I walked back through that same hallway, and the sign was still up. So I said, ‘You know, I wonder if that paint is still wet?’ It was.

There is something in everyone of us that draws us to that which is contrary to the principles of God. As long as we are in the flesh there will be temptation. But God will never let us be faced with a temptation that He will not make us adequate for. Remember that the next time you see a “wet paint” sign – and keep on walking!
