When the Ordinary Became Extraordinary

"In the same region there were some shepherds staying out in the fields and keeping watch over their flock by night. And an angel of the Lord suddenly stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them; and they were terribly frightened."Luke 2:8-9
It was an ordinary night! There was nothing out of the ordinary about the sheep in the field, and nothing out of the ordinary about the shepherds themselves. But, on this otherwise ordinary night – something extraordinary happened. Suddenly, the Bible tells us, there was a glow. The glory of God Himself shone around the shepherds, and an angel appeared with a message of Good News.
Everything about that night was changed, and what was ordinary became EXTRA-ordinary! A night of miracles! A supernatural moment in history never seen before.
God’s love for us is extraordinary. He loves ordinary people like you and me – and He invites us to experience His extraordinary love for us made available through His Son, Jesus.
