Why are you here?

Mark Twain is credited for saying that the two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why. God appointed the day of our birth, and He has appointed the day of our death. But what about the days in between? Why are we here? We are here first and foremost to love God and glorify Him in all that we do, the majestic and the mundane.

Whether we are worshiping or working, eating or drinking, spending time in prayer or spending time with friends and family, we are to do it in a way that exalts God. So if you were made to love and glorify God, why not begin right now. It is the “why” that will make this day one of the most important days in your life.
