"Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in Me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you." - PHILIPPIANS 4:8-9
Dwelling on truth brings you peace because you know your house will never crack. Residing on the honorable is peaceable because there are no skeletons in the closet. Dwelling on that which is right brings the peace of knowing the timbers are straight and the structure level. Living on the pure is peaceful because there’re no insects to eat away the foundations. Building your house on the lovely gives the calm assurance no ogres hide under your bed. Dwelling on good repute is the peace of knowing you didn’t get tricked into buying swampland for your mansion. The God of peace will be with you because you’re living where He lives.
