A New Mindset

For centuries scientists believed the neural pathways of a person’s mind were set at an early age – that once formed our minds could not be changed. We know now that our minds can be changed, and that when we are made new in Christ, part of that “new” is our mindset. And in our relationships with one another, we need to have the same mindset as Jesus. We should not do things from selfishness, but with humility of mind we need to regard others as more important than ourselves and look out for their interests.

Jesus was willing to give up His glory and humble Himself to die on the cross. For this reason, God highly exalted Him. Are you willing to have the humility of mind that Jesus had? Then allow the Holy Spirit to “renew your mind” as you read God’s Word and grow in your new life in Christ.
