A Special Day

Imagine you had seven dollars in your pocket, and a beggar came up and asked for money. You gave him six dollars, keeping only one dollar for yourself. Then the beggar grabbed the other dollar and ran off. How would you feel?

Now imagine that instead of dollars, we were talking about days. God has given us seven days in each week, but He asks us to take one day out of the week to rest, to reflect, to recover, and to worship Him. Don’t treat this day like every other day of the week. Sunday should be a joyful time, a privileged time. Set aside this special day to give honor and glory to the Almighty – who has given us everything!
