Melted and molded

March 27, 2020
“But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth.” - JOHN 16:13

I love the old hymn, “Spirit of the Living God.” In it there is a prayer that says, “Melt me, mold me, fill me, use me.” That prayer should be on our lips every day. Melt. Does God need to do any melting away of some barriers or prejudices in the relationships you have? Mold. Is there anything God needs to shape in you so He can fill you, then use you in ways that are sometimes quiet, sometimes public and dramatic. Can you pray today and say, “Lord, melt me, so you can mold me. Then fill me, and use me any time, anywhere, any place, under any circumstances.”

Ask Him, right now, to do His work in and through your life that His Spirit may “fall fresh” on you.
