Saved!

When I was five years old, I was learning to swim. One crowded 4th of July weekend, I wandered into the deep end and began struggling to stay above water, all the while believing I was about to die by drowning. Suddenly a strong arm grabbed me and pulled me up. My dad had saved me.

When Jesus saves us, He not only rescues us, He makes us whole. Because of sin, we are “broken into pieces.” The good news is that Jesus came to seek and to save those who are lost – those who are broken. So let me ask – Are you “in pieces” today? If so, Christ stands ready to save you. Not only will He pull you up into His strong arms, He’ll make something beautiful of your life.
